My name is Dee Bryant, I stated scrapbooking in 1998 when a friend invited me to a ‘crop’. At the time my daughter was 3 years old daughter, Amanda, which kept me busy, but I enjoyed my scrapbooking. I purchased the Baby Girl line. I loved the thought of Creative Memories (CM) had “safe” photo preservation techniques and would preserve my photos for generations to come.
In 1999 I went through a divorce, so my album sat in a box for several years. When my daughter was in middle school, I picked it back up. It was at that time I found a CM consultant who reintroduced me to scrapbooking and I signed up as a consultant and hosted crops in my home. It was in 2013 CM when through some corporate changes but in 2014 reopened, better than ever before. I signed up on the 2ndday of the recreation of CM. It was at that time I started hosting crops in my church but was not allowed to share CM items.
In 2019 I held my first retreat outside my church in OBX. It sold out quickly and I was beside myself yet very nervous, but it was a great time and I was hooked on the business.
Since then, I've renewed my love of scrapbooking and the business. I have met some of the most amazing friends and some great connections with people who love it as much as I do! I have nearly 50 completed albums, including my daughters baby book, her school years and now my Army reunion trips, road trips and much more.
Personally, I am a mom to Amanda (who is now 30), I served in the US Army for 3 years active and 3 years reserve. I served in Wurzburg, Germany and Fort Lewis, with my reserve unit in Charlotte, NC. I am retired from NC State Government. I volunteer annually with Toys for Tots with my former employer. I have 2 kitties, Little Honey and Diddles. I enjoy working in my yard and traveling to scrapbook.
Since retiring I have had a lot more time to devote to my business. I host 9 events around NC, I am a vender at an event in Virginia and I attend an annual advisor retreat in Huntsville, AL. I would love to have you join us at any of my events!
